SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it is alarmed about the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach here Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The assistance point created for intervention experiences a superior influx of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people sassa status check who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to permit click here the servicing of all prospects and improve entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
